Rest Stop Detour: There is nothing surprising about Trump’s commitment to violent and disparaging rhetoric nor his tendencies towards the tokenization of American workers. In fact, experiencing the daily lives of everyday citizens by working their jobs was a campaign strategy innovation that Former Governor of Florida (and Democrat) Bob Graham deployed in the 1970’s when building credibility in state politics. The key difference is that Bob Graham worked a full shift for 100 workdays in different trades to foster civic participation throughout the state, not to bolster his public image for fifteen minutes of media coverage. Don’t let Trump and Vance’s exhaustive strategies take you for a ride. Know the facts and mobilize your circles to make a voting game plan with Route 24’s Toolkit.

Arcade Alley
Arcade Alley gives readers a behind-the-scenes look at some of the gaming features and design approaches that have informed our creative process on Probable Cause.
En route to a destination? Confronted with an unforeseen obstacle? Forced to take a detour? Driven to the edge? These are a few scenarios that define the road horror subgenre, with films such as The Hitcher, 1000 Corpses, Jeepers Creepers, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and Unhinged topping the list of fan favorites.
Though plot elements differ, the core mechanics of road horror are driven by fear of the unknown. According to recent consumer survey data from Statista, 40% of viewers watch or stream the horror genre in the United States. With an election around the corner, we’re all on the edge of our seats.
Probable Cause plays with this sense of anticipation, putting you in the headspace of different characters where language and behavior affect outcome.
Neighborhood Watch

I know, I know. I said no politics on Fridays. Current events require a few more rest stop detours. After a few canvassing trips in the Sun Belt, I’m back to film life and phone-banking these last four days of the election. If you’re a female founder, join Female Founders for Harris at next week’s in-person and virtual phone-banking event.
The facts are clear. Kamala Harris fights for women and small businesses. The Harris-Walz economic plan will foster 25 million new small businesses, increase tax deductions for startups, and establish a small business expansion fund.
On National Latina Civic Engagement Day, it’s worth noting that Latinas make up 16.4% of the U.S. population and will become 25.7% in 2050. If Latina entrepreneurs continue this growth, we’ll add an estimated 1.4 trillion to the U.S. economy.
If you’re stalling to make a choice as a small business owner, I urge you to stand behind Kamala Harris and drive progress forward for all of us.
Reserved Parking
Thank you to everyone who made a contribution to the Art for Democracy billboard initiative. Due to regional availability and budget restrictions, our community focus shifted from Arizona and Florida to North Carolina. With your support and in collaboration with artists Hope Meng, Lena Wolff, and Save Art Space, Route 24 helped to sponsor a digital billboard in a key battleground state to drive voter turnout and support reproductive freedoms in the final stretch.
Route 24 celebrated another milestone with its 24th post on
